5 TIPS TO COPE WITH FAMILY CHRISTMAS CHALLENGES🎄
1. Get out into nature and use your 5 senses (smell, taste, touch, sound, sight) to connect you to the depth of beauty around and to ground you into the present. Use this like a meditation, bring full body conscious awareness to each sense.
2. Shake and move to release physical tension and to regulate your nervous system (and create a feeling of joy).
3. Choose a healthy option and drink all natural botanical herbal spirits to relax you and enhance your mood and help you socialise without alcohol.
4. Spend a few moments connecting to your physical body using touch. This will immediately calm your nervous system and connect you to safety in your body.
5. Take long slow deep breaths, extending the exhale. This will calm your system whilst also helping you let go of tension.
Wishing you a peaceful and happy time with your family. Make sure you take care of yourself and listen to your own needs.

The inner ‘work’ sometimes needs to be slow and steady
All too often we can be hard on ourselves and have that old adage of ‘no pain, no gain’ which really is a load of old BS
The breath knows
When you trust the breath and relax into the rhythm of how your body wants to breathe you
When you let go of expectations for there to be catharsis you’ll find a lot can move and shift - but in a healthy, slow and peaceful way - and this creates safety throughout your whole body
if you feel there is a constant barrage of everything / too much to be dealing with
The breath is a practice that nourishes you and that you can trust to always be exactly what you need - this is pretty darn incredible 🙌
So much healing happens with a slow approach where you’re not pushing yourself but just letting the breath be like gentle waves in your body

All too often people feel disconnected
People are lonely
People don’t even know what they feel as they are so in their heads
And yet when you’re able to breathe and feel you are going to relax, you’re going to allow emotions to come up, you’re going to become more sensitive to your own needs, wants, desires, truth
