I wanted to find out about her inspiring and challenging path to healing that has led her to deep unravellings of anatomical research and guided her to become an anatomy and movement teacher and to find her calling.
Ana Barretxeguren is a movement educator, Pilates teacher and myofascial release practitioner. Through self-enquiry, a passion for anatomy and fascia and extensive work helping people recover from injury, she created Moving Fascia®, a movement method based on embodiment, self-release and movement techniques. Her method has helped hundreds restore ease, minimise pain and improve fluid movement and breath.Ana’s experience of living with catamenial pneumothorax, a rare condition leading to repetitive lung collapses, has led her to continuously investigate fascia, focusing primarily on the visceral space and its connections to breath and movement.Ana is the founder of Evolve Movement Education, a training organisation running anatomy and fascia courses for professionals in the fields of movement and manual therapy. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Anatomical Sciences, has been a movement educator on various teacher trainings for the past 15 years and lectures internationally on anatomy and movement.
Natasha de Grunwald is a subconscious transformation coach, a mentor, a teacher, trainer, breathwork facilitator and a Mum to a 19 year old daughter. She has been teaching and training and holding space for people in the wellness industry for over 30 years.
