THE SUGAR RESET

21 DAYS TO LOOK AND FEEL BETTER AND FIND OUT HOW MUCH OF IT WAS NEVER ABOUT PERI-MENOPAUSE

8TH – 29TH JUNE

STILL BLAMING PERI-MENOPAUSE FOR HOW YOU LOOK AND FEEL?

IT MIGHT BE SUGAR.

Most women in their 40s and 50s accept a version of themselves that’s more tired, more puffy, more anxious than they used to be.

They blame hormones. Stress. Life.

But they haven’t taken sugar out for 21 days and paid attention to what happens.

This is that experiment.

YOU PROBABLY ALREADY KNOW SOMETHING IS OFF

The sleep isn’t what it was. That afternoon energy crash that appears like clockwork. The puffiness that wasn’t there five years ago. Cravings that feel bigger, more insistent than they used to. Joints that ache for reasons you can’t quite figure out. Hot flushes that have become a daily negotiation. A body that feels like it’s working against you,  when you know it shouldn’t be.

Most women connect these things to age, hormones, stress. And sometimes that’s true.

But sometimes it’s sugar.

And the only way to find out is to take it out – properly, long enough to let your body adjust, and see what changes.

21 days gives you that information.

21 days gives you that information.

What most women don’t realise about sugar.

It isn’t always the obvious stuff.

Sugar is comfort. Reward. The thing you go to at 3pm when the afternoon drags. The food thats woven into celebration, stress and everyday life. After years of reaching into the cupboard for something sweet, it becomes invisible,  just part of how you move through the day.

Which means breaking the habit isn’t just a physical challenge.

It’s a psychological one.

And that’s exactly why doing this alone rarely works.

Not because you’re not capable of that. But because when the cravings hit, and they will,  all the negotiating happens inside your own head. The voice that says you’ve done brilliantly, one biscuit won’t hurt. The decision to start properly tomorrow. The slow slide back to where you started.

That’s not a weakness in you. That’s just how habit change works without support.

This is 21 days of not doing it alone.

Inside a private WhatsApp group, you’ll have women doing exactly the same thing as you, on the same days, at the same hard moments,  alongside me, in the group with you and doing it alongside you.

Every day you’ll receive:

→ A daily challenge, prompt or habit interrupt
→ Real-time support when cravings hit
→ Accountability that doesn’t feel like pressure
→ Space to share the wins, the difficult days and the things you notice – like feeling liberated, rested and happier.

And something happens when women share honestly in a group like this. Someone writes exactly what you’ve been feeling, and you feel less alone. Less like you’re failing. More like you can keep going.

That changes everything.

THE 3 WEEKS

WEEK 1 COLD TURKEY

This is where we interrupt the habit. Expect cravings. Expect your brain to become very creative with reasons why just this once is fine. This is where you start noticing exactly where sugar has been showing up in your life,  and what it’s been doing there. Stay with us. Share with us.

WEEK 2 STATE CHANGE

This is where things start shifting. Cravings soften. Energy steadies all day.  Sleep improves. You stop thinking about food quite so much. This is often the week women realise: this feels much easier than I expected.

WEEK 3 THE PAYOFF

This is where you find out. What changed? How do you feel? What happened to your sleep, your energy, your body, your face? The habit is interrupted. Now you get to decide what you want to keep,  because you’ve actually felt the difference.

what this is – and what it isn’t

This is not a diet. We eat good food. We remove refined and added sugar.

Fruit stays. No artificial sweeteners. Alcohol pauses – ideally. It’s largely sugar and tends to make this harder.

But you’re a grown woman. This is your experiment. Make it work for you.

And if you slip – stay with us. One difficult day isn’t failure. Get back in. Keep going.

YOUR guide for the reset

Natasha de Grunwald has spent over 30 years working with bodies, behaviour and real change.

Part therapist, part teacher, part facilitator – and occasionally referred to as a witch by clients (mostly joking… mostly) — she has an unusual ability to help people get underneath the noise and reconnect with what actually works.

Students sometimes call her the rose and the dagger. Warm enough to make people feel safe. Direct enough to help people surprise themselves.

“I’ve spent 30 years working with bodies – and I’m a qualified nutritionist. I didn’t create this reset from a textbook.

I created it because I followed my own habits closely enough to realise that the joint pain making me hobble out of bed every morning, and the hot flushes I’d resigned myself to, weren’t perimenopause. They were sugar.

When I took it out, both almost disappeared.

I also know what happens when life gets hard,  a breakup, a particularly stressful season – and sugar takes hold again. I feel it. And the reset is what I come back to when I want to feel and look like myself again.

I also know it’s always easier when you don’t do it alone. That’s why the group exists.

I’ll be in the group with you – not watching from the sidelines.”

“It felt really safe and fun and amazing to be facilitated by Natasha — and to be with an incredible group of women who view life in such a beautiful way.” — Jodie

“I like her honesty, I like her openness. She’s very approachable. But I also like the fact that the truth isn’t hidden — it’s always done in a very nurturing way. Her knowledge is vast.” — Tina

QUESTIONS WOMEN ASK

I've tried before and always end up back where I started
Usually that’s because you’re doing it alone. Changing habits is hard when all the cravings, negotiations and difficult moments stay inside your own head. This gives you somewhere to check in, share in real time and keep going. You might be surprised what changes when other women are alongside you.
What if I slip?
You stay with us. One difficult day doesn’t undo everything. We don’t disappear and we don’t decide we’ve failed. We keep going.
I already eat quite well, is this still for me?
Yes. In fact the better you already eat, the easier this often is. This isn’t just for women who feel out of control around sugar. It’s for women who are curious what changes when they take it out for 21 days and actually pay attention.
What happens after the 21 days?
The WhatsApp group stays open. And my hope is that you finish feeling more in choice — understanding yourself a little better, knowing which habits were running you and what it feels like when they’re not. Then you decide what you want to take forward.
Why women only?
Because women do something particular when they’re honest with each other. The me too moment that makes the hard bits feel survivable. I chose women because I think women need spaces to be with women right now and this challenge works better for it.

You’ve probably thought about doing something like this before.

This time, don’t do it alone.

This challenge is not medical advice. Please consult your doctor before making dietary changes, particularly if you have an existing health condition. Results vary – this is an experiment, not a prescription.
